Youth unemployment remains a major challenge in rural Uganda. NHLCC equips young people with practical and income-generating skills such as:

• Tailoring, carpentry, and crafts
• Sustainable agriculture and poultry keeping

These programs help youth and families to become self-sufficient, reducing poverty and dependence.

3. Gender Equality & Women Empowerment

NHLCC advocates for gender equality and the protection of women and girls’ rights.

• Sensitization programs on gender-based violence prevention.
